Nash Technology Services has over 12 years of experience in Operator Training and Support. We have done training and maintenance on X-Ray Baggage Scanners all over Canada. Our course puts emphasis on item identification, operator safety, as well as threat detection.
Our standard course takes just under a full working day to deliver. The first portion is a presentation on Safety Code 29, Safe Operating Procedures, Image analysis and Threat detection, with a review test at the end of the session. The second portion will be hands on operation of the X-Ray, which will include familiarizing the operators with the controls, what threats are a priority for detection, and setting up the operator for the safe operation of the system. Training aids, to represent explosive, biological, or weapon threats will be used.
The training covers all the items required by Health Canada, with a focus on Safety code 29, which covers the responsibilities of the Employee to ensure safe operation of X-ray emitting devices.
Certificates for completion of X-Ray course will be provided.
Optional training on setting up operators with their individual logins, archive management, and threat image projection (TIP) is also offered.
